Last Day of School for 2009

Great day today. One more to go. If you forgot your secret Santa gift at home today, please bring it tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last school day of 2009. Please bring any missing work to school tomorrow so you start the new year with no missing work.

Next week No Spelling due to Spelling Bee on Thursday

Spelling Bee representatives from our room with be James and Alex.

We will also start our reading of the script Honk Jr. in our play groups.

All other homework will be the same. On Wed. Dec. 16th Students will share their Invention Posters with the class.

If you child is in my SFA Class then they also have a bookreport due that AM. Notices went out a month ago about both of these writing assignments.

Wk 15 Homework

Homework has been the same for the past two weeks.

Spelling Story and Sci is due today. As stated on the homework calendar.

Wk 12 No Spelling!

Hi We are having a great week already.

Homework for this week was sent home with students last week so that they could start early and enjoy the week.

  • Please Pick up your Cookie Dough Sales in the Gym after school today. Some of the items are perishable. There is no place to store them at school.

All grades are cut off on Friday. Missing Work, Extra Credit, Test Make-ups etc. for any assignment prior to Friday, Nov. 6 needs to be completed by Friday, Nov. 6th, 2009.

No Spelling Wk 9 Oct 26-30

No Spelling Next Week (Wk 9 Oct. 26-30th) due to No Time in Class to do it.

  1. On Monday we will be taking the Math MAPS test from 1:00 to 2:55. Last Monday the students were not given enough time to take the reading test and needed to finish the next day. I want to make sure that all students have enough time to finish their MATH MAPS test on OCT. 26th.
  2. Tuesday, Oct. 27th is Skate Night from 6-8.
  3. Thursday and Friday we are reciting poems that were supposed to be memorized this month.
  4. Friday: We may read our finished "Lincoln In the Dark" Stories, too.
